Identity of Junius
Junius was the pseudonym of a writer who contributed a series of political letters to the Public Advertiser, from January 21 1769 to January 21 1772. Junius himself had been aware of the advantage and increased importance he secured by concealment, a fact he confessed in a letter to Wilkes dated September 18, 1771.
