Institut de veille sanitaire
The French Institut de veille sanitaire (Sanitary Surveillance Institute) is a Health minister public establishment. Its mission is to survey the health of the population and, if required (for example in the case of an epidemics), to alert the administration, health specialists and the whole of the population.
