Ichinohe Hyoe
(August 2, 1855-September 2,1931) was a Japanese general of the Imperial Japanese Army serving during the Satsuma Rebellion, First Sino-Japanese War and most notably during the Russo-Japanese War. A meticulous planner, the casualty rate of his command was far fewer than that of his fellow officers while achieving the same objectives.
