Illegal Medical Experiments and the United States Government
The United States government has previously been involved in human experiments wherein the test subjects were fooled or forced into participating and, thus, were deemed not to have given informed consent. At least one of these studies was conducted after the Nuremberg Codes were established which forbid illegal medical experimentation under international law.
