Imaging studies

Imaging studies include: conventional radiography (x-ray), computed tomography scans (CAT; CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI; MR), positron emission tomography (PET) scans, ultrasound (US) imaging (sonography), and certain other less utilized techniques. Contrast administration helps to make images clearer and easier for radiologists to read.
