Instant gentrification

Real time or Instant Gentrification is a phrase coined by Columbia University's Larrin Devereaux in attempt to define both the devastation and opportunities presented by manmade or natural disasters affecting a previously less desirable area such as New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina, thus making the redevelopment process virtually instant or in real time.
