Imperial Throne Council of War
In Japanese history, the Throne Council of War was a special conference under the direct leadership of the Emperor of Japan, for discussion of important political and military affairs. The opinions stated in these meetings were coordinated with the "Imperial Supreme Council of War", but did not affect the decisions taken by the supreme command of the Japanese Army and Navy.
