IEEE1588 Clock Synchronization
IEEE 1588 refers to a standard that is used for sycronising time across a packet network typically TCP/IP over Ethernet. An advancement on Network Time Protocol IEEE 1588 makes more accurate timing by sending information about wave properties of a Caesium Atomic Standard Clock.
