The Chartered Financial Analyst course is also offered in India by ICFAI standing for Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India which represents the ASAF (Asian Security Analysts Federation,Australia). This is in no way affiliated to the CFA Institute of USA though it had a tie up earlier(AIMR - CFA Institute's parent body) which did not work out, and are now working as separate bodies, one National and other is an International Charter.
