Info (Unix)
info is a command line utility initially written for use with GNU/Linux and then ported to other Unix-like operating systems. It is a kind of hypertextual, multipage documentation and help viewer working on a terminal, so no GUI is needed; info processes info files, which are Texinfo formatted files, and presents the documentation as a tree, with simple commands to traverse the tree and to follow cross references.
