Immediate mode
Immediate mode refers to a programming style for 3D graphics where the representations of graphical objects, their spatial relationships, their appearance and the position of the viewer, are transmitted one at a time to a library layer for rendering. As each frame of animation is drawn, the objects are retransmitted.
