Ilhéu Secos



The Ilhéu Secos (Portuguese meaning the Dry Islands in which the island is dry and receives not as much vegetation as the island of Brava, Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Idjéu Sekus, Brava Crioulo: same name) or Do Rombo (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Du Rombu or Du Runbu) are a group of islets in Cape Verde located due north at about 7 to 8 km from the nearby island of Brava. The two major islets of the chain include Ilhéu Grande and Ilhéu de Cima.
