Imperial Navy (Star Wars)
In the fictional Star Wars galaxy, the Imperial Navy, also referred to as the Imperial Starfleet, was the military arm of the Galactic Empire charged with maintaining security and order in Imperial space. The Imperial Navy had absorbed the military forces of the Galactic Republic after Palpatine's declaration of the New Order.
