Idaho Amendment 2 (2006)
Idaho Amendment 2 of 2006 is a so-called "defense of marriage amendment" that amended the Idaho Constitution to make it unconstitutional for the state to recognize or perfom same-sex marriages or civil unions. The referendum was approved by 63% of the voters.
