Ilya Pyatetskii-Shapiro
Ilya Pyatetskii-Shapiro (born 1929) is a mathematician, well known for contributions to the theory of Fourier series, bounded homogeneous domains and associated discrete groups, automorphic forms, and algebraic geometry. Born into a Jewish family in the USSR, he emigrated to Israel.
