Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris
The Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP; French for "Institute of Geophysics, Paris") is a French research and higher education establishment located in Paris, dedicated to the study of the Earth (geology, geochemistry, geophysics, and seismology). Its main location is presently inside the Jussieu Campus in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, although plans are underway to move the institute to a dedicated facility adjacent to the Jardin des Plantes.
