Impossibility "Doctrine of Impossibility" is an excuse for non-performance of duties under a contract, based on a change in circumstances (or the discovery of preexisting circumstances), the nonoccurrence of which was an underlying assumption of the contract, that makes performance of the contract literally impossible. A wicket-keeper, Imtiaz Abbasi made his mark in his first class debut for Karachi against Quetta in the 1998 Patron's Trophy when he held seven catches, a record for domestic Pakistani cricket.
