IMZ - Irbitski Motozykletny Zavod (Ирби́тский мотоцикле́тный заво́д = ИМЗ) is a Russian maker of heavy motorcycles (especially with sidecars). In 1940, the Soviet Union acquired the design and production techniques for BMW R71 motorcycles and sidecars.
