Inositol triphosphate receptor



Inositol trisphosphate receptor (IP3R) is a membrane glycoprotein complex acting as Ca2+ channel activated by inositol trisphosphate (IP3). It has a broad tissue distribution but is especially abundant in the cerebellum.
