Insurgency weapon
An insurgency weapon is a weapon, most often a firearm, that is intended to be smuggled or airdropped behind enemy lines, and used by insurgents to engage in guerrilla warfare against an occupier, or for use by rebels against an established government. While the term insurgency weapon is not generally used outside of the Hillberg designs mentioned below, there are a number of documented firearms that share many similar characteristics, and may be classified under the same label.
