Ichthyosaurus
Ichthyosaurus (derived from Greek ιχθυς meaning 'fish' and ĎαυĎος meaning 'lizard') is an extinct genus of diapsid reptile, belonging to the aquatic ichthyosaur order, which was named after it. Naturally, this is the best known genus.
