Institut fĂĽr Rundfunktechnik
The Institut fĂĽr Rundfunktechnik GmbH (IRT) is the research centre of the German broadcasters (ARD / ZDF / DLR), Austria's broadcaster (ORF) and the Swiss public broadcaster (SRG/SSR). It is located in Munich and is responsible for the research and standardisation of broadcasting technology.
