Indian Botanic Garden



Indian Botanic Garden, established in 1787 by the East India Company, is located in Shibpur, Howrah district, West Bengal state, India. The garden, covering an area of around 270 acres, has more than 12,000 living perennial plants and over two and half million dried out specimens of plants, collected from different parts of the world.
