Institut français du pétrole
The Institut français du pétrole (IFP, French Institute of Oil) is an independent research organisation in France. It was founded in 1944 under the name of the Institut du pétrole, des carburants et des lubrifiants (Institute of Oil, Fuels and Lubricants).
