The Independent Democratic Union of SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe (UDISTP) was a political party formed by SĂŁo TomĂ©an exiles based in Portugal who opposed the socialist policies of the single party Movement for the Liberation of SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe (MLSTP) government.
