In Germany, picture rights or "Bildrechte" are the copyrights attached to the author of photography and are specified in the "Law for Copyright and similar Protection" ("Gesetz ĂĽber Urheberrecht und verwandte Schutzrechte"). These rights deal with rights of reproduction, distribution and adjustment and copyrights, the right of acknowledge the name of the author and prohibitions against distortion.
