Imperial Hyperspace Security Net
In the Star Wars Expanded Universe, the Imperial Hyperspace Security Net was an overlapping network of hyperspace disruption technologies used by the Empire to control hyperspace traffic through the Deep Core. Composed primarily of gravity mines and Interdictor Cruisers, the Hyperspace Security Net monitored all hyperspace traffic entering and exiting the Deep Core on hyperspace lanes.
