Il Posto
Il Posto is an introspective, meditative 1961 post-neorealist film directed by Ermanno Olmi. By illustrating its protagonist's inner turmoil, the film explores the fate of introverted, meek, northern Italian peasants at the height of the nation's rapid postwar urbanization and modernization.
