Inspector Wexford
Chief Inspector Reginald 'Reg' Wexford is the popular fictional character created by novelist Ruth Rendell, and is protagonist of 20 of her bestselling novels. Wexford (and Rendell) debuted in 1964 with the publication of From Doon With Death.
