Idaho 1st congressional district election, 2006
— Incumbent Butch Otter (R) has now taken office as Idaho's Governor. Though it elected a Democrat in 1990 and 1992, the district, which contains the Idaho Panhandle region and most of the Boise metropolitan area, has been reliably Republican in recent years.
