Ibuprofen



Ibuprofen (INN) (IPA: ) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) originally marketed as Nurofen and since under various trademarks including Act-3, Advil, Brufen, Dorival, Herron Blue, Motrin, Nuprin and Ipren or Ibumetin (Sweden), Ibuprom (Poland), Moment (Italy). It is used for relief of symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhoea, fever, and as an analgesic, especially where there is an inflammatory component.
