James L. Day
Major General James Lewis Day (5 October 1925-28 October 1998) was a United States Marine, who as a Corporal, serving in World War II, was awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism at Sugar Loaf Hill on Okinawa. Day continued his distinguished service with the Marine Corps as an officer, reaching the rank of Major General.
