Jake Wade (baseball)
Jacob Fields (Jake) Wade (April 1, 1912 - February 1, 2006) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Detroit Tigers (1936-1938), Boston Red Sox (1939[start]), St. Louis Browns (1939[end]), Chicago White Sox, (1942-1944), New York Yankees (1946) and Washington Senators (1946).
