Jeanne Birdsall



Jeanne Birdsall (1951-) is an American author who won the National Book Award in 2005 for her novel The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy, her debut novel. She was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, but currently lives in western Massachusetts.
