Janine Chasseguet-Smirgel



Janine Chasseguet-Smirgel (1928 - 2006) (whose surname is alternatively spelled "Chasseguet-Smirguel," but generally not in English-language publications) was a leading French psychoanalyst, a training analyst, and Past President of the Société Psychanalytique in Paris. From 1983 to 1989, she was Vice President of the International Psychoanalytical Association.
