James Wilmot
James Wilmot (born at Warwick in 1726, died at Barton in 1808) was a Warwickshire clergyman and scholar. 1780 first serious researching investigator for a biography on William Shakespeare and the the first to propose Francis Bacon as the author of "Shakespeare.
