James Devaney
James Devaney (1890-1976) was an Australian poet and novelist sometimes credited with coining the name of the Jindyworobak Movement and being one of the big forces in it. It is said he took the name from a phrase in the Woiwurrung language he found in a 19th century vocabulary.
