Japanese financial sector
The Japanese financial sector is one of the largest in the world, and it is home to some of the largest financial services companies, business groups and banks. The large keiretsus (business groups), the multinational companies such as Sony, Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Toyota own billion and trillion US dollar operating banks, investment groups and/or financial services such as Sumitomo Bank, Fuji Bank, Mitsubishi Bank, Toyota Financial Services, Sony Financial Holdings, etc.
