JaguarĂŁo River
The JaguarĂŁo River (Portuguese Rio JaguarĂŁo, Spanish RĂo YaguarĂłn) forms the border between Uruguay and Rio Grande do Sul state in southernmost Brazil. The river originates in the Rio Grande Shield, and flows east to empty into Lagoa Mirim, a large coastal coastal lagoon which is indirectly connected to the Atlantic Ocean.
