Jean Farmer-Butterfield is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's twenty-fourth House district, including constituents in Edgecombe and Wilson counties. From Wilson, North Carolina, Farmer-Butterfield is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in her first term in the state House.
