Jera



Jāra or Jēra "harvest, (good) year" is the reconstructed Proto-Germanic name of the j-rune . In the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, it is continued as Gēr and Ior, the latter a bind rune of Gyfu and Is (compare also Ear).
