Jean-BĂ©del Bokassa
Jean-Bédel Bokassa (IPA: ; February 22, 1921–November 3, 1996), also known as Bokassa I and Salah Eddine Ahmed Bokassa, was the military ruler of the Central African Republic from January 1, 1966 and the Emperor of the Central African Empire from December 4, 1976, until his overthrow on September 20, 1979.
