Jeannette Island



Jeannette Island (Остров Жаннетты in Russian) is one of the islands of the De Long Islands archipelago in the East Siberian Sea, discovered in 1881 by the Jeannette expedition, commanded by Lieutenant Commander George W. DeLong, USN.
