Jaenbert

Saint Jaenbert (also Jænbert, Jaenberht, Jaenbeorht, Janibert, Janbriht, Jambert, Lambert, Lanbriht, or Genegberht) was monk, then abbot, of St Augustine's Abbey, Canterbury, from which he ascended to become Archbishop of Canterbury (consecrated 765, died 792). His term saw a dispute between the See of Canterbury and King Offa of Mercia leading to the creation of the rival Archdiocese of Lichfield in 787 under Higbert.
