Jan WĹ‚odarkiewicz
Lieutenant Colonel Jan WĹ‚odarkiewicz (1900-1942; noms de guerre Damian, Darwicz and OdwaĹĽny) was a Polish soldier, an officer of the Polish Army and a freedom fighter during the World War II. He is notable as the first commander of the Wachlarz, the first secret service formed by an underground resistance organization in occupied Europe.
