James Gopsill
James Gopsill was the Republican mayor of Jersey City in New Jersey from May 6, 1867 to May 3, 1868. He was a delegate to the Republican National Convention from New Jersey in 1868 and a member of the Republican National Committee from New Jersey from 1868 to 1872.
