Jamal al-Atassi
Jamal Al-Atassi (1922 - 2000) (Arabic: جمال الأتاسي) was a Syrian nationalist, politician and author. He was one of the earliest ideologues of the nascent Syrian Baath Party, which he joined soon after it was founded.
