Japanese Aero Engines Corporation
The Japanese Aero Engines Corporation is a consortium of large Japanese companies (Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) formed, in the late 1970's, as a partner to Rolls-Royce, originally to help develop the 20000lbf RJ500 civil turbofan.
