Jack Trice
Johnny (Jack) Trice (born, Hiram, Ohio, 1902 - died, Ames, Iowa, October 8, 1923) was an African-American football player from Iowa State College (now Iowa State University), who died due to injuries suffered during a college football game against the University of Minnesota on October 6, 1923. Many suspected the injuries inflicted were racially motivated.
