Karl Hampe



Karl Hampe (1889 - 1936) was a German historian of the Middle Ages, particularly the history of the Empire in the High Middle Ages. Hampe was born in Bremen and graduated from Berlin in 1902, when he was appointed to a professorship in Heidelberg.
